Light Fight

LightFight was the world’s first live ‘light fighting’ bout that pitted the heavyweight designers against the lightweights in terms of their lighting knowledge. BDP Lighting lifted the trophy at LuxLive and claimed the title, winning team a £2,000 travel bursary to be used on a lighting experience of their choice. Additionally, for every designer that participated, the organisers donated a Little Sun solar-powered lamp designed by the light artist Olafur Eliason, for Light Collective to donate to a deserving project in the developing world. Light Collective set the rules, the questions and compered the night.
