The Light Collective UK Lighting Designers Family Tree

The UK lighting industry is an entangled and complex mesh of entwined practices and people, it’s one of the things that makes it great.

When we set up Light Collective we realised that we are the bastard love child of Andre Tammes and Miles Pinniger, two of the pioneers of the UK lighting industry, with a good chunk of foster care from LightMatters and BDP. This spurred us to try and create a map of the UK lighting industry.

With the help of LIGMAN and arc magazine, we created an International Lighting Design Family Tree.
