Xicato - Secret Dining Experience / Milan

The Dining Experience in Milan took place in a bellissimo, crumbly, un-rennovated cuccina in the heart of the city partially open to the great outdoors. This time Light Collective enlisted the help of local designers Elettra Bordonaro and Antigone Acconci to help them realise the idea. Local caterers Area Kitchen provided amazing canapes and a spectrum meal in Italian style including a delicious saffron risotto and chocolate and raspberry desert. The Italians won the global competition by getting 14/14 in the Xicato LED/Tungsten comparison treasure hunt beating the Germans into second and the UK coming in last. Everyone from the UK got eaten alive by mosquitos – apparently due to our ‘Sweet blood’.
